Your energy bill isn’t the only bill you have to pay every month. Now you can pick a date that fits your schedule and coincides with your energy bill’s due date. With Preferred Due Date, you tell us what date works best for you.

What is a Preferred Due Date?

You choose when you want your bill to be due, and we handle the rest

How it works


Just pick your Preferred Due Date. Once you choose the date, it will take effect on the next month’s bill. (The first billing period could be longer or shorter than normal depending on the date you pick.)

The due date for your bill could vary by a few days from one bill to the next. If your due date falls on a weekend or holiday, your payment will be due the following business day.

You can change your preferred date once every 12 months.

Who is eligible


To qualify for Preferred Due Date:
  • Your account must be current without a past due balance or payment arrangement.
  • If you have multiple accounts, they must be billed separately and not combined (what’s known as summary billing.)

Log into your account or register. You can select the day of the month that works best for you.

You can also give us a call at 602-371-3663. We’re here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When you enroll in Preferred Due Date with AutoPay, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your bill will be paid by automatic withdrawal close to the same day every month. If you are an existing AutoPay customer, your AutoPay withdrawal date will be changed to your preferred due date.
